Thanksgiving weekend the Lord showed us where our first mission trip was going to be. Mexicali is on the border of Mexico with Calexico in the USA side. The first mission was to bring a drop of hope to that community by bringing clothes, blankets, and dry food, such as rice and beans. Our second trip is scheduled to be at the end of January to bring heavy duty tarps.  The idea is to reduce the incidince of mortality in Mexicali by helping these brothers and sisters to have better housing. During the raining season, elders and children can not tolerate the cold weather and therefore they die with no hope of a lasting life. MLGCI is committed to helping the "Satellite Community"  to survive one more cold winter. Please help us, with helping them by cooperating with this cause. El fin de semana de Accion de Gracias, el Senor nos mostro en donde seria nuestro primer viaje misionero. Mexicali es la linea divisoria entre Mexico y Calexico en el lado de USA. La primer mision iva a ser llevar una gota de esperanza a esa comunidad trayendo ropa, cobijas, y comida seca como arroz y frijoles. El Senor se glorifico de una manera sobrenatural y en menos de dos meses estabamos de regreso. Nuestro proximo viaje fue a finales de Enero y la mision fue llevar carpetas de alta duracion; la idea es reducir un poco el indice de mortalidad en Mexicali ayudandoles a estos hermanos y hermanas a estar mejor preparados para el invierno. Durante el tiempo de lluvia, los ansianos y ninos no toleran el frio del invierno muriendo sin ninguna esperanza de larga vida. El Ministerio la Gran Comision esta comprometida con la comunidad Satelite a ayudar a sobrevivir un frio invierno mas. Porfavor yudenos a ayudar cooperando con este ministerio y esta causa.
